About the Author
Kaelin C. Murphy was born and raised in Maine, and grew up hearing stories passed down from generation to generation about ghosts, hauntings, demons, and witchcraft. Her family's strong, spiritual beliefs were instilled in her at an early age, defining the lines between good and evil. Though she later moved from the state of Maine, her roots still run deep in the legends that refuse to stay buried.
She was co-editor of The Center Post, a bi-monthly local newspaper back in the 70's, and since then has published several poems in various anthologies. She enjoys watercolor painting, woodworking, playing various stringed instruments, fishing, and of course, writing. She is a graduate of The Institute of Children's Literature.
She now lives just south of Atlanta, Georgia.
